Team Read is ramping up for a bigger summer program than ever before! With the Team Read/Summer Staircase program expanding to a second site and The Seattle Public Library and Highline programs going strong, we’ve hired over 100 teen coaches and hope to serve more than 300 young student readers this summer.

Team Read’s summer program continues providing one-on-one reading support to students while also infusing team building, literacy games, STEAM enrichment, and more fun activities through extended day programming. Our theme this year is Around the World.

We are excited to welcome back several former reading coaches, like Kenji and Markia, who will be site coordinators at locations throughout the city. They will bring their experience and expertise to the program, helping lead teen coaches in providing high-quality tutoring support and mentorship to emerging readers.

Stop by and take part in all the fun—join us for a summer site visit! Dates and locations are listed below. Contact Development & Communications Coordinator, Kristin Galioto at kristin@teamread.org or 206.252.0136 to schedule your visit.
