Seattle Team Read Coach Application Submitted!

Thank you for submitting your application to be a reading coach with Team Read 2024-25! Staff will review applications during the months of June and July. We look forward to reviewing your application, and aim to be in touch during August and September.

So, what’s next?

Your application will now go through 4 steps before you can be hired:

1. Your application must be reviewed and approved by the Team Read hiring committee. Approved applicants will be notified by email.

2. If you elected to receive hourly pay and have not previously worked as a paid Team Read coach, you must successfully complete a Seattle Public Schools Hourly Hire Packet and provide valid identification. Team Read will send approved applicants the required forms.

3. You must successfully attend coach training. Training invitations will go out to selected applicants after steps 1 and 2 have been successfully completed.

4. You must accept and confirm your site placement.

You’ll find a timeline with important due dates, an overview of school district applications, and a detailed walkthrough of the federal I-9 and W-4 forms (if you chose to receive service-learning credit, you only have to pay attention to steps 1, 3 and 4).
